Though the name “Milling Machinery, Inc.” (now MMI Industrial and Steel) was not developed and incorporated until 1974, the company began to take shape two years prior. It was in 1972 that Clifton Pinckard set out as a welder in his pick-up truck with a dream. Today, MMI remains one of the largest employers in Mesa, Arizona, with diverse steel fabrication capabilities in our AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) certified facilities for structural steel and miscellaneous metals. The two shops, situated on over 75,000 square feet of real estate, boast a combined fabrication capacity of 300 – 500 tons of steel per year.
MMI’s success in the steel fabrication industry has afforded us the opportunity to outfit our fabrication facilities with some of the best tools in the business. Our top-shelf equipment has allowed for automation of certain work processes, timeliness, and unsurpassed quality.
